Hi! Orange Gearle here with my first layout for the Pretty Little Studio design team! I am using mostly items from the Chasing the Sun collection and a free cut file that can be found here.  Here is a look at my project:

I used 8x8 papers from the Chasing the Sun collection to back the cut file (the orange is from the Documented Life 8x8 papers). Then I used the same colors to add stripes behind the cut file with distress oxides and water. 

Behind each photo I added a tag from the Fireflies Shipping Tags that are part of the collection. Then I layered some patterned papers, and frames behind each photo. I used the Fly a Kite Die Cuts and the Photo shoot die cuts to add some embellishments around the page.

I finished off the project by using the Face Painted patterned paper from the 12x12 paper pack as a boarder around the layout. This paper has every one of the colors in the layout, and adds the perfect final touch!

Hello! I have been absent from this blog -- but I'm back to share with you more often! Today I am here to share a layout and process video that I made for the Scrap Lift Sunday (SLS) challenge of in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} facebook group. There are so many challenges each month and they are so worth checking out!  For this layout I used Pretty Little Studio's Glitter & Ice collection. Hi Friends! I am up on The Cut Shoppe Blog today with a layout using the Photo Album cut file. I shrunk down the file so that it wasn't a full page -- and I made my photos about 2x2 inches. Here is a look at my layout :

I backed the cut file with papers from Pretty Little Studio's Document Life Collection. I love these bright colors!  I popped up each of the photos with some craft photo to add dimension.

I added some banners to just about every photo. These banners are from a cut apart from the Bohemian Dreams collection also by Pretty Little Studio. 

I used a hexagon punch to embellish to my layout. I made three clusters with these, using all the colors!  I added tangled thread through out for texture and more pops of color!

I printed my journaling on photo paper and cut it into strips! I also made a video of my process, if that's something that suits your fancy!

..:: pumpkin brains ::..

Hi Friends! I am up on The Cut Shoppe Blog today with this layout using a couple of cut files from the Etsy Store.

For this layout I used some navy blue card stock to cut the Pumpkin Carving cut file. Then I backed it with patterned papers. Here's a look at the cut file.

For the title I used a font on my computer to cut "pumpkin" and then the Super Star Alpha from The Cut Shoppe for the word BRAINS.

I was super excited when I found the perfect piece of flair from A Flair For Buttons. Doesn't this match her shirt perfectly?

I used mostly the Goosebumps collection designed by Ashley Horton for Pretty Little Studio. But I also used a few items from Paige Taylor Evan's Take Me Away Collection (for those pops of purple).

I had a fun time creating this layout. I also made a video of my process if that suits your fancy!
